Thank you for the respond, and yes I made it using NS_VIS_ASSIGN.

So the simulation only takes the details of link specification right?

Technically, the data does contain the name of each router's city +
state/country. So one could do a geolocation lookup and visualize the
routers based on that :)

However, it's not very fine-grained, so many routers will share the same
city.
