[ndnSIM] About number of incoming and dropped interests in ndnSIMsimulator

I have observed from the simulation that,

If we install ndn in two different folders and run an example scenario
(e.g., ndn-grid.cpp) for the same amount of time, it shows the different
number of incoming interests and dropped interests.

Why is it like that?

Note: Packets are sent after a fixed interval of time
