[ndnSIM] Difference between Custom and Real NDN Applications

Hi all,
What's the difference between NDN Real and custom applications in ndnSIM
tutorial?
How to implement a new mobility support techniques in NDN? I mean Should i
write a new custom/real NDN application or a new forwarding strategy to
implement my new Idea?
