Hi everyone,

I'm trying to setup NDNSim version 2. on a Server for more computing
resource. The server is based on Ubuntu 14.04 and I'm not allowed to
upgrade it. Unfortunately, it did not succeed in the compilation
process. Version 2.4 compilation requires newer version of some
dependencies which might not be satisfied with Ubuntu 14.04 and could
not even pass through NS-3 wifi module compilation.

I have checked out the "remotes/origin/ndnSIM-v2" branch, and it almost
got through, it failed at the step trying to link

---

./libns3-dev-ndnSIM-debug.so: Nicht definierter Verweis auf
`boost::re_detail_106000::perl_matcher<__gnu_cxx::__normal_iterator<char
const*, std::string>,
std::allocator<boost::sub_match<__gnu_cxx::__normal_iterator<char
const*, std::string> > >, boost::regex_traits<char,
boost::cpp_regex_traits<char> > >::match()'

--- which means that the linker has some issue when trying to link to
the boost library.

I could set up NDNSim v1.0 on this Server without any problem, but I
would really like to use the newer NDNSim version.

Any ideas on how to deal with this are much appreciated.

Best regards,

Binh
