[ndnSIM] supporting other library?

This is not exactly question about ndnSIM.  If the library can be "added" to a C++ program (e.g., you know exactly or can detect which compile and link flags to add), then you can do it in NS-3/ndnSIM as well, since it is an ordinary C++ program.

However, I remember someone on this list was trying to make matlab work with NS-3 and had some complex problems, but I don't recall the details.
