[Ndn-interest] Quick question

Hello,

Is this the right place to ask newbie questions? For example:
1. Is there a Java equivalent of the Producer / Consumer API?
2. Is there an example somewhere of Java implementation of media streaming
over NDN?

If not, could someone point me in the right direction?
