On September 19-20, 2018 National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) hosted the Named Data Networking Community Meeting (NDNcomm 2018) in Gaithersburg, MD. Technical News

We released version 0.6.3 of Named Data Networking Forwarding Daemon (NFD) and ndn-cxx library. More details are available in NFD release notes <http://named-data.net/doc/NFD/0.6.3/RELEASE_NOTES.html> and ndn-cxx library release notes <http://named-data.net/doc/ndn-cxx/0.6.3/RELEASE_NOTES.html>.

We released version 0.6.2 of NDN Essential Tools. More details are available in the release notes <https://github.com/named-data/ndn-tools/blob/a8b03df84db7b50e2a244595b1696f59b62f2ce4/RELEASE_NOTES.md>.

We released new versions of all NDN-CCL libraries to accompany the NFD 0.6.3 release. The libraries now accept Interest packets in the new format 0.3, names support typed name components, and the new component type ParametersSha256DigestComponent (with “params-sha256” in the name URI).
