[Mini-NDN] GUI and router related questions

Mini-NDN Edit was removed as part of the redesign several months prior. I’d recommend writing your topologies manually which is described in the docs.
I’m confused by your second question. All nodes running NFD can serve as routers if the topology puts them in a position to forward interests. If you’re asking how packets are transmitted between nodes on an implementation level, it’s a virtual ethernet link between the respective network interfaces on the nodes.
