[Ndn-interest] Question about why the Selector component was removed in Interest Packet Spec. v0.3?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to NDN. I found that many old NDN interest documents mention the
Selectors component, but it was removed in the latest NDN package
specification version 0.3. What is the reason for the removal? Where can I
find a discussion on this?
