[Nfd-dev] multicast ethernet face send error: device not configured

Hi devs,

Sometimes, I observe this error on my NFD when it tries to send out an interest:

1544817438.094369 DEBUG: [nfd.EthernetTransport] [id=297,local=dev://en18,remote=ether://[01:00:xx:00:12:aa]] Permanent face ignores error: Send operation failed: send: Device not configured

What might be the reason for that and how one would fix it?
I can ping my producer(s), so the network works fine.
