Hello everybody. As far as i know NFD can support multicast for
interest/data packet forwarding but still depending on router/switch or
WiFi AP to forward the multicast network packet towards other nodes.

The questions is

1. If i want to implement multicast forwarding on mesh network (without any
TCP/IP based mesh router such as OLSR or batman-adv) do i need multicast
router (such as smcroute or mrouted or even simple iptable rules) to enable
each node that using ad-hoc/IBSS WiFi to connect each other and NFD with
multicast strategy to enable simple NDN based mesh network? Did any NFD
developers already tried NFD with multicast in ad-hoc WiFi mode?

2. I assume NFD didn't forward multicast network packet by itself and do
you have any plan to support this features especially for non
infrastructured wireless network environment like wireless mesh network?
