Are you trying to use digest Sha256 signing? a simple example of a server
configuration would be this:

##########
Name=/test/E
Content=EEEEEEEE
SigningInfo=id:/localhost/identity/digest-sha256

an example procedure with some general steps to using ndn-traffic-generator
can also be seen in the github issues page:
