[ndnSIM] Consumer mobility in 3x3 grid topology

Dear ndnSIM team,

I am implementing a consumer mobility scenario in a 3x3 grid topology using
ndnSIM (v2.9 on ns-3.38).

Each node in the grid acts as both a router (connected via P2P links) and a
Wi-Fi access point (to support a mobile consumer). The consumer moves
across the grid using a ConstantVelocityMobilityModel.

The issue I’m facing is that when nodes serve as both P2P routers and Wi-Fi
APs, the NDN packet Interest do not seem to be forwarded correctly. It
seems that the NDN forwarder is not properly handling packets between P2P
and Wi-Fi NetDevices.

My question is:
1. Is there any recommended way to combine P2P and Wi-Fi in the same node
under ndnSIM?

Any example or guidance would be highly appreciated.
