[ndnSIM] Push-based content dissemination in VNDN

Dear Members,

I am wondering to see, a few research articles that used beacon messages in NDN for push-based content dissemination in Vehicular NDN. since NDN uses interest-data packets. Isn't it a violation of NDN architecture? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
