[ndnSIM] Questions for NdnSIM

Hello everyone!!

I'm new to NdnSIM, and I have some questions. If you can help me I will be
immensely grateful.

I want to simulate a VNDN network with a new routing strategy will define
interest routing based on some metrics extracted from the interest packets.

I thought of starting by modifying the package of interest according to my
need. Once modified, I will work on the NFD strategy and lastly on the
scenario using SUMO.

Am I using a correct sequence of work?

If anyone can provide me with code snippet that calculates distance between
nodes using geographic coordinates I would be grateful.
