[ndnSIM] pit aggregation

Hello,
The router stores in a *PIT* all the Interests waiting for returning Data
packets. When multiple Interests for the same data are received from
downstream, only the first one is sent upstream towards the data source.
can anybody say me how to observe pit aggregation effect??
i have 4 nodes connected to router r1 requesting same data at same time,
according to ndn architecture only one request have to go upstream... but
in my case all subsequent requests are going upstream... any idea why??
