[ndnSIM] missing gnomedesktop Python module

Hi all,
i just built ns-3 on a Ubuntu 16.04 VM using virtual box on Mac -following
is the result- the visualiser window opens successfully showing a graph
with three nodes (can't attach due to size restriction)
mh at mh-VirtualBox:~/ndnSIM/ns-3$ ./waf --run=ndn-simple --vis
Waf: Entering directory `/home/mh/ndnSIM/ns-3/build'
Waf: Leaving directory `/home/mh/ndnSIM/ns-3/build'
Build commands will be stored in build/compile_commands.json
'build' finished successfully (1.944s)
17:46:25 environ              No en_GB translation found for domain kiwi
Could not load icon applets-screenshooter due to missing gnomedesktop
Python module
Could not load icon gnome-terminal due to missing gnomedesktop Python module
scanning topology: 3 nodes...
scanning topology: calling graphviz layout
scanning topology: all done.

Can anyone help explain what they mean with the following errors from above
> and help fix them:?

module.
