[ndnSIM] Why do I can't run file in ndnSIM

dear Sir,
i am a new comer in NDN research, and i am not familiar yet with ndnSIM.
I did put a file named example1.cpp in scratch folder in ns-3 folder (in
ndnSIM), and i run it with the command  : ./waf --run=example1. But there
is note that 'program 'example1' not found. what's wrong with that?
