[ndnSIM] Build fails (./waf)

ON Fedora 22, running the latest ndn-cxx and NFD

Fails with the following error

[2370/2454] cxxprogram: build/examples/tcp/star.cc.5.o -> 
build/examples/tcp/ns3-dev-star-debug
/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib64/libndn-cxx.a(data.cpp.2.o): relocation 
R_X86_64_32 against `__pthread_key_create' can not be used when making a 
shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/local/lib64/libndn-cxx.a: error adding symbols: Bad value
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
