[ndnSIM] encryption in ndnSim

Hi All,
To simulate protocols which use encryption, does it make any difference 
to actually encrypt the payload and decrypt it on the other side? I 
guess it will make the simulation significantly slower and won't affect 
the final simulation results since (again as I guess) it is transparent 
to current version of ndnSim.
