Dear Community,
I am sorry if the question is duplicated. According to NDN website here:
https://named-data.net/doc/NDN-packet-spec/current/name.html
The authority component (the part after the initial // in the familiar http
and ftp URI schemes) is irrelevant to NDN. It should not be present, and it
is ignored if it is present.
For example, the name like:
ndn://user@example/exampleProducer/exampleData
The authority part user at example should be ignored. So, how does NDN
protocol send the name to the destination by looking at the remaining part
/exampleProducer/exampleData?
Best,
Kyi Thar
