Well it depends. If you have no prior experience, I’d suggest to start with installing NFD and running some sample apps from ndn-tools to get a feel of it. Then depending on what you want to do, you may focus on different things, e.g., app development, libraries, forwarder, simulator, etc, and each comes with its own documentation.
