[Ndn-interest] How to send a signed interest in ndn-js?

Good morning all,
I wrote:

var k = new KeyChain();
k.prototype.sign(interest, '/root/site1');
   or
k.prototype.signWithSha256(interest');

But... nothing happens.

Any idea ?
