Hi Chaim

A TCP or UDP endpoint is identified by IP address and port number. IP
address is used for forwarding between nodes, and port number is used for
demultiplexing within a node.
An NDN endpoint (application) is identified by Name prefix. The Name prefix
is used both for forwarding between nodes and demultiplexing within a node.
Thus, a Name prefix that appears in the RIB of an end host roughly equals
IP address plus port number.

Yours, Junxiao
