Dear folks

FreshnessPeriod is defined as nonNegativeInteger:
http://named-data.net/doc/ndn-tlv/data.html#freshnessperiod
The minimum value of nonNegativeInteger is zero:
http://named-data.net/doc/ndn-tlv/tlv.html#non-negative-integer-encoding
Therefore, the minimum FreshnessPeriod is zero.
