Along with referencing our scripts and documentation, please see the Mininet API- our project is built on top of it (https://github.com/mininet/mininet/wiki/Documentation).

Thanks alot for your response Saurab,
I will check them.
Is there any manual or guides on how to write python scripts for the mini-ndn experiments?

Hi Marwa,

The value there represents hyperbolic coordinates, if you want to read more about it here are a few links: https://named-data.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/experimental_investigation_hyperbolic_routing.pdf, https://www.caida.org/research/routing/greedy_forwarding_ndn/.

Importantly! please go through http://minindn.memphis.edu/experiment.html and learn more about the possible values and configurations for the nodes section.

Regards,
Saurab Dulal

Subject: [Mini-NDN] Question about radius and angle in the topology file in mini-ndn

hello mini-ndn team,

I have a question about the [nodes] section in the topology files in mini-ndn,
there are values of ( radius, angle) for each node:

a: _ radius=0.5 angle=2.64159265359
b: _ radius=0.6 angle=3.64159265359
c: _ radius=1 angle=1.57079632679
d: _ radius=1 angle=4.71238898038

What do these values represent and what are their benefits? Can I set them to zero or remove them?

If I want to create more nodes, what should be the values of them?

best regard, marwa
