Yes go the NLSR folder and you can modify the code in src/ folder, then compile and install it in the system:

./waf

sudo ./waf install

Mini-NDN will then run this modified NLSR.

Is it possible to modify the method of NLSR and then run the modified method on each node of mininet?

NLSR is not implemented in Mini-NDN. It is its own program:

NLSR developer's guide:

Mini-NDN simply executes the binary installed in the system on each node of Mininet.
