[ndnSIM] ndnSIM debugging issue

Respected  all,
I am trying to configure debug mode in ndnSIM through below mention command

"./waf configure --debug"  (run through ns-3 folder)

 output : waf: error: no such option: --debug

I am newbie to ndnSIM kindly suggest me the solution of this problem
