Hi Visha,

You can install and configure NFD as shown here:
https://docs.named-data.net/NFD/current/INSTALL.html <https://docs.named-data.net/NFD/current/INSTALL.html>

Then you will need ndn-tools to ping for content here: https://github.com/named-data/ndn-tools <https://github.com/named-data/ndn-tools>

After that you can connect to the NDN network, you can choose the gateways on the ndn-testbed to access the ndn network remote forwarders (and use “ndnping” that is included in the ndn-tools):
