Hi Zhen

To align with RFC3234 definition, in NDN:
A middlebox is defined as any intermediary device performing functions
other than the normal, standard functions of an NDN router on the datagram
path between a consumer and producer.

Standard functions of an NDN router include:

   - forward Interest by Name
   - return Data by PIT states
   - cache Data

Middlebox functions can include:

   - translate between routable and non-routable Names
   - perform Data validation
   - filter packets according to firewall rules

Yours, Junxiao
