<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">For Mini-NDN, you can write your routing protocol against ndn-cxx library (do not use client library such as ndn-cpp, jndn, or PyNDN2 as you want to use ndnSIM later) and install it as a binary in the system. Then
<span>create your custom experiment</span> and simply call the binary on each node.</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">You can try to build upon or use parts of existing routing protocol, NLSR.<br>

<div>If someone wants to test a modified routing in NDN, how it can be started? If the objective is to simulate it in ndnSIM but before that can it be tested in Mini-NDN as well with a small network? Is there any library that has to be modified? If not, then
where from it can be started? Otherwise if there any other way out to check the viability of the modified routing method?<br>
